Activities for Teenagers
The Parasol Project supports disabled and non disabled young people aged 13 – 19 years old in term time and throughout the holidays. We offer one of the most exciting holiday provision programmes for young people in the city.
Our activities focus on inclusion, having fun and gaining new experiences. Some of our activities include, art project days at East Oxford Community Centre, cinema and bowling trips, canoeing, dry slope skiing, go-karting, lazer tag in Culham, cooking sessions and scavenger hunts.
One of the magical and unique things about The Parasol Project is its emphasis on inclusiveness. We champion equality and have created a unique ethos and culture that is present in all of our work.
Over the past twenty years our provision and capacity for delivery has grown considerably. During the summer of 2015 we worked with a phenomenal 110 disabled and non disabled young people. We regularly work with young people referred from external organisations such as Viking House, Meadowbrook College, Barnados, VIP+ and Oxford Early Intervention Hub.
We take registrations for our teenage service all year round. If you have a young person who you would like to register please head to our contact page and get in touch. We’d love to hear from you!
